What it is
Most Aadhaar rejections are paperwork problems, not identity problems: a mismatched surname, a proof of address that is three months out of date, a form filled in the wrong script. We check the file before it goes in, prepare the correct form, and book you the appointment.
What we do, and what we don't
LAWFIC prepares your paperwork and books your appointment. We do not perform Aadhaar authentication or eKYC, we do not access any government database, and we are not affiliated with UIDAI. Biometric steps always happen in person, at an authorised centre.
Who needs it
- Anyone whose name, date of birth or address needs correcting
- People whose Aadhaar and PAN details do not match
- Families updating a child's Aadhaar after age 5 or 15
- Anyone who has been turned away once already
How it runs
4 stages, and you can see where you are in all of them
- 01
Send us the details
Tell us what is wrong and what it should say. No documents needed yet.
- 02
We check the file
We confirm which proof the centre will accept for your specific correction, and flag anything that will bounce.
- 03
Form and appointment
We prepare the update form and book your slot at an authorised enrolment centre.
- 04
You attend, we follow up
Biometrics happen in person — that part is always you. We track the URN until it closes.
What we need from you
Send these when you start. If something is missing we will tell you before you pay, not after.
- Existing Aadhaar number (masked is fine)
- Proof of the detail being corrected
- A recent proof of address, if the address is changing
- A registered mobile number
Questions people actually ask
Can LAWFIC update my Aadhaar for me?
No, and nobody outside an authorised enrolment centre can. Aadhaar updates require your biometrics, in person. What we do is make sure the paperwork you walk in with is correct, so the visit works the first time.
Do you need a copy of my Aadhaar card?
No. A masked Aadhaar number is enough for us to prepare your file, and we do not store Aadhaar photocopies.
How many times can I change my name?
Twice in a lifetime for name, once for date of birth, and gender once. Address can be updated as often as needed. We will tell you if you have already used yours.
